Tyz Law Group Welcomes Accomplished Attorney and Former Tech Company General Counsel, Guinevere Jobson
Tyz Law Group, a Northern California-based litigation and IP counseling firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Guinevere Jobson as General Counsel-in-Residence and Chief Operating Officer.
Guinevere brings to Tyz Law Group more than 16 years of U.S. and global experience, most recently as General Counsel of AI-powered digital advertising technology company Quantcast where she led all legal functions including privacy compliance and product counseling, intellectual property, regulatory affairs, disputes, commercial transactions, international expansion, and legal operations. Guinevere was also part of the company’s executive leadership team, working across business units to set and execute high level strategic objectives.
Prior to her time at Quantcast, she spent the first decade of her career as an intellectual property and commercial litigator representing clients across technology, Internet, and digital media/entertainment sectors at Fenwick and West. She spent a year as visiting attorney in the intellectual property department of Allen & Overy (now A&O Shearman) in the firm’s Paris, France office where she advised on multi-jurisdiction, cross-border patent litigation and video game copyright enforcement programs. The addition of Guinevere brings the full-time team at Tyz Law Group to 11.

Guinevere is active in the legal community, supporting women in law and technology through participation in the Women’s General Counsel Network, ChIPs and TechGC. She holds a J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law and her BA in History and German from the University of California, Berkeley. She currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
