Tyz Law Group is Heading to Berlin for the Games Industry Law Summit on June 2-4, 2026
Next week, three Tyz Law Group attorneys will be traveling to Berlin to attend the Games Industry Law Summit, joining hundreds of their international video game legal industry colleagues for three days of excellent conversation, topical panel discussions, and catching up on which games we’ve been playing. Firm founder and head litigator Ryan Tyz, along with video game industry specialists Jennifer Kelly and Jonathan Downing, will be representing the firm at this year’s Summit.
As with prior years, this Summit—the eleventh of its kind and the first to take place in Berlin—will bring together in-house attorneys, outside counsel, and industry experts from hundreds of studios and law firms representing dozens of countries. Additionally, finalists and winners of the annual Legal Challenge moot court contest will be in attendance, representing the up-and-coming international class of video game attorneys.
Numerous panels will take place over the course of the Summit, ranging in topics from global regulatory trends to music licensing. Our own Ryan Tyz will be joining a panel on discovery during disputes, bringing his substantial litigation and strategic expertise to the conversation. Additionally, attendees will have ample opportunity to participate in group activities, mingle and network over refreshments, and dine together in a large communal setting. If prior years are any indication, there may also be karaoke involved.
All told, the Summit represents one of the true highlights of gaming law events in the world, and Tyz Law Group is pleased to join in on the fun once again this year. Stayed tuned for Tyz Law updates from the Summit.
