Litigation Attorney Position – Boutique Litigation Firm – SF Bay Area (Hybrid)
Tyz Law Group is a boutique litigation firm with a simple philosophy: hire exceptional people, become experts in our clients’ businesses, and deliver winning results.
We handle high-stakes IP, business, and class action litigation for technology, video game, and entertainment companies — the matters that keep general counsel up at night. We offer the capabilities and excellence of larger firms with the agility and personal investment of a small team. We optimize for results, not billable hours. Our clients know the difference, and so do we.
That obsession with results has earned us recognition: Best Law Firms ranks Tyz Law Group a Tier 1 IP litigation boutique in San Francisco, Above the Law says we’re “running the best game in town,” and the Daily Journal has named us a Top Boutique in California and recognized our founder, Ryan Tyz, as a Top IP Lawyer for seven consecutive years. Three of our other attorneys have been recognized by Best Lawyers.
Why Tyz Law Group
If you’re an excellent litigator who has wondered whether the big-firm model is the only way to practice at the top of the profession, it isn’t. We routinely go up against and beat big firms. Here’s how we’re different:
Real work, real responsibility. No leverage pyramid, no document review purgatory. You’ll take and defend depositions, argue motions, develop case strategy, and work directly with clients and experts from day one.
Sustainable by design. We staff cases leanly and efficiently because we optimize for outcomes, not hours. That means a practice you can sustain for a career — with the flexibility to have a life outside of it. We work hard when cases demand it, and we don’t manufacture work when they don’t.
Hybrid flexibility.Work from home and from our San Francisco or Larkspur office. We care about the quality of your work product, not where your chair is.
Interesting clients, cutting-edge matters.Digital entertainment, AI, video games, robotics, software, semiconductors. If you want your cases to be the ones your friends ask about, this is the place.
A team you’ll actually like. Small, collegial, and collaborative. We hire people we trust, then trust them.
