Stephanie focuses her practice on company-critical complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, representing clients in matters involving a wide range of business disputes, including intellectual property and licensing disputes for technology companies. In addition, Stephanie is deeply steeped in privacy-related counseling and litigation, advising clients on compliance with evolving data privacy laws and defending against claims under statutes such as the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA) and the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA).  Her recent work includes counseling on opt-out mechanisms under the CCPA, cookie banner compliance, and defending technology companies in privacy class actions and arbitration proceedings.

Prior to joining Tyz Law Group, Stephanie was a litigator at BakerHostetler LLP where she engaged in all aspects of litigation practice, handling disputes involving commercial transactions, wildfires, employment issues, antitrust issues, and trade secret disputes.

Stephanie received her J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. While in law school, she was the Vice President of the Latino Law Students Association, a Gold Honors Scholar, and an extern at Public Counsel’s Women and Girls’ Rights Division. Stephanie received her B.A. in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara. She is also a fluent Spanish speaker.
